Catskill Castings and its particular predecessor, The Walton Foundry, were manufacturing high quality roadside Historical Markers because the 1920's. Standard Marker size is around 3' broad x 2' high, 1/2" thick through human body with 1" material width at the border and it is made of cast aluminum, estimated fat is 50lbs. The bottom associated with Marker is cored to just accept a 2-1/2" ID x 7' long mounting pole, either a Galvanized Steel, or Aluminum Mounting Pole. The base regarding the Marker slides across end of the pole and is fastened in place with two socket screws.

These Markers are often used to distinguish historic websites, people/places of importance, while having also been erected as welcome indications near the entry to towns, villages or hamlets.

Markers tend to be coated with two base coats of a Rustoleum brand name, usually "National Blue", the letters and border with two coats of Rustoleum brand, "Sunset Yellow, " unless otherwise required (Any color of Rustoleum or Benjamin Moore brand name paints may be used regarding marker).

We stock logos for the Markers, and will even make customized logos upon request. View our Inventory Logos.

Along with our Standard Markers we could accommodate Custom Marker orders. Ex: various styles, forms, sizes, logos and colors for the Custom Marker. Also feasible, different wording for each side of the Marker, and sometimes even different fonts and page sizes can be found. Your imagination could be the limit!
